As we cannot gather for in-person classes at this time, our goal is to encourage, empower, and support you, as a parent.  We will strive to help you embrace your role that the Church refers to as the “Primary Catechist”. Meaning, that you as your teen’s parent, are the first and most important teacher of the Faith in your teen’s life. Together, our goal will be to prepare the hearts of our teens so that they are eager and able to embrace the Sacrament of Confirmation. Our prayer is that this year your teen will encounter Jesus Christ and the Church He founded in a different way and that this time to share your Faith as a family will allow your teen to ask life’s big questions and in the process reveal the incredible vision that God has for each of their lives.

Your at-home preparation time will be followed up by a small group meeting via ZOOM. These weekly check in meetings will be from 20-30 minutes and will be with a small group of teens and a catechist for further discussion, prayer, and a time to build community with fellow Catholic Teens.

Please note:

-This is the first of a two-year Sacrament Program.  These teens can look forward to celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2022!

- You will receive a parent guide, a student workbook and access to the video content.

- We will look forward to resuming in person classes when we are able. When that time comes, please be patient and flexible as we work through the various protocols that we expect to be in place.

- Our parent meeting will be on our YouTube Channel the first week in October.

- You will receive an email with the Parent Meeting details and your materials will be available for you to pick up after the Parent Meeting airs.

- The other requirements for Confirmation include Mass attendance, service projects, and a retreat.  The Parent Meeting will outline how we will approach these requirements this year.

- ALL Confirmation teens are enrolled, at no extra cost, in LifeTeen, our High School Youth Ministry Group.

- As we are creating small groups for our ZOOM weekly check in meetings, we need many more adults willing to become a Catechist. If you have ever thought about becoming a Catechist, this is definitely the year. YOU are needed! Please contact Megan if you interested.

ALL High School Teens are invited and encouraged to join LifeTeen! LifeTeen is first about leading teens to encounter Jesus Christ and the Church He founded. We work to build relationships with young people and encourage and empower them to live a life of Discipleship. We offer the following:

  • Virtual Life Nights from LifeTeen! You will receive a personalized link to join!
